2/26/11 NIA MACKNIGHT "STANDING ROCK"
"Standing Rock" is a portrayal of the relationship between the Lakota Sioux Native Americans and the Standing Rock IIndian Reservation in South Dakota. It stands as a response to previous representations of the culture, and also as a poetic exploration of my relationship with the land of my ancestors.
